Water Safety Initiative
MISSION:
Educating the public on the importance of SAFETY while celebrating the joys of water sports!
Launched in 2003, the water safety initiative has become a valuable program in the Las Vegas community and beyond
the city limits with a diverse array of activities and outreach to promote swimming and water safety skills.
The initiative has been recognized Nationally and Locally with numerous accolades for its programming and impact.

Adult Supervision: Always have an adult present

Barriers: Layers of barriers - alarms, fencing, pool covers, locks & gates
Barreras: Tenga capas de barreras como alarmas, cercas, cubiertas de piscina, cerraduras y puertas

Classes: Take swimming, lifesaving, and CPR classes
Clases: Tome clases de natación, de salvamento, y de resucitación cardiopulmonar

Devices: Have life jackets, P.F.D.’s (personal floatation devices), and rescue tools
